There is a great deal of nonsense about quantum mechanics. Some of these misunderstandings underlie the attempt at creating quantum computers. The father of QM, Schrödinger, knew it was all a bunch of hooey. It’s non-locality and not indeterminism that makes QM special. It’s about waves and the main problem is about resolving collapse.
